Central Railway Mega Block on Sunday, 11th October 2015


       As per the information from Central Railways Press Release, Central Railway will operate Mega Block o­n its suburban sections for carrying out maintenance work o­n 11.10.2015: -
Following is the detailed information about Mega Block on 11th Oct 2015 Sunday

KALYAN – DIVA  UP & DN FAST LINE FROM 11.00 AM TO 4.00 PM

UP fast services leaving Kalyan from 11.00 am to 3.58 pm will be diverted o­n UP slow line between Kalyan and Thane stations halting at all stations and further re-diverted o­n UP fast line between Thane and Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus halting at Mulund, Bhandup, Vikhroli, Ghatkopar, Kurla, Dadar and Byculla stations and will arrive destination 20 minutes behind schedule.

DN fast services leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus Mumbai from 10.08 am to 2.54 pm will halt at Ghatkopar, Vikhroli, Bhandup and Mulund stations in addition to their respective scheduled halts and Dn Fast services beyond Thane will be diverted o­n Dn Slow between Thane & Kalyan stations halting at all stations and will arrive destination 20 minutes behind schedule.

MASJID - CHUNABHATI UP AND DN HARBOUR LINES & 
VADALA ROAD-MAHIM UP AND DN HARBOUR LINES FROM 11.30 AM TO 3.30 PM

All DN harbour line services to Panvel / Belapur / Vashi leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus Mumbai from 11.09 am to 3.45 pm and UP harbour line services for Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus Mumbai leaving Panvel / Belapur / Vashi from 10.08 am to 2.49 pm will remain suspended.

All DN Harbour line services to Bandra / Andheri leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus Mumbai from10.48 am to 3.33 pm and UP harbour line services for Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus Mumbai leaving Andheri / Bandra from 10.40 am to 3.45 pm will remain suspended.

Special locals will be run between Panvel - Kurla (from Kurla Platform No.8) during the block period. 

Harbour line passengers for Bandra/ Andheri are permitted to travel via Main Line and Western Railway from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm.

As a result of this, suburban trains are likely to be more crowded than usual. Passengers are requested not to take any risks while travelling. They are also requested to avoid travelling o­n foot board, roof top of locals and not to board extremely over crowded trains. Passengers are requested to bear with the Railway Administration for the inconvenience caused.
